Considerations When Choosing Any Cleaning Service

Q: Am I responsible for Workers Compensation Insurance?
A: No. Not with Dust Squad. As a professional cleaning service, it is Dust Squad's legal obligation to pay Workers Comp to protect our employees and you, the customer, from any injury that might happen in your home. But, if a cleaning service does not provide this coverage you will be left vulnerable to lawsuits or medical payments if an individual, or one of their people, should get hurt in your home.

Q: Am I considered a Household Employer and responsible for the payroll taxes of the people cleaning my home?
A: No. Not with Dust Squad. At Dust Squad, we claim our people to the IRS as our employees. Therefore, you will not be considered a Household Employer by the Internal Revenue Service. We are responsible for reporting and paying the payroll taxes to the IRS.

Q: If the people cleaning my home are Illegal Aliens will I get in trouble?
A: No. Not with Dust Squad. Everyone we hire is verified for employment eligibility in full compliance with the U.S. Immigration and Naturalization Service's requirements.

Q: Will I feel comfortable with the people sent to clean my home?
A: Yes. With Dust Squad you will. Dust Squad is a professional cleaning service with a reputation to maintain. We pay to have a thorough third party criminal background check done on all employees to earn the peace of mind of our clients. All employees must pass a rigorous training program and all work done in your home is supervised. Our employees are fidelity bonded and Dust Squad carries extensive liability insurance tailored specifically to the housecleaning business.
